Great ep! I was kinda disappointed that we didn't get back to Snow & Emma till the last 5 mins, but it was a good jawdropper to finish the Regina/Cora flashbacks with her mother appearing there...which also somewhat doesn't make sense since Regina supposedly pushed her mother into some other world & the place they are now IS the Enchanted Forest (a.k.a. Fairytale Land). I'm sure it will all be cleared up later though! Those flashbacks of a younger Regina really are heartbreaking though, and while I'm glad it kicked present Regina's conscience into gear, I feel like it's too good to be true. Not that I'm one to judge since I usually love seeing the "bad guys" have a fault that makes them "human" and thus can eventually fit in and mesh with everyone else, but this is the EVIL QUEEN. If she's to be redeemed at all, I would think it's through the course of the series, not so soon into the second season. *hmms* And especially right after she tapped into her magic again and was a total badass. Dang, that was a little creepy how her eyes turned purple briefly when she inhaled the magic from the spellbook. I thought her mother/mother's spirit had possessed her at first. XD Oh, and where was Belle throughout all this? I wondered if maybe Mr. Gold/Rumpel had sent her across the border and that was why he was so furious that they couldn't leave Storybrooke. Was he planning on it? *sigh* Idk, but it seemed very parallel to when Belle left the first time in the flashbacks. I'm sure it will most definitely appear in some vids this week. ;) Charming was going nuts! Everyone was - and well, okay, my only complaint was that we got like 2 seconds of Jefferson. I mean, REALLY?! I've been waiting ALL SUMMER to see Seb (a.k.a. Mad Hatter) back on my tv screen again, and what do I get? Five minutes tops. Also, who puts my baby in a car crash? I mean, who knows how long he was under there?! LOVED his conversation with Charming though. Hehe. I laughed right along with him when Charming demanded - "get it to work!" MAJOR flashback to when he demanded that of Emma. *giggle* God, he's so sexy. In every way! *sobs* But back to everything else... Charming's speech was awesome! I was proud of him, especially since he said Snow usually did all the talking. Hehe. Let's see...what else? I'm looking forward to more fairytale land stuff next week, since CLEARLY the stuff from those scenes in this ep were just teasers for NEXT week. *mutters* Interesting how Rumpel & Regina met...I wonder how/why their families are so intertwined. *hmms* When he was first telling her about how he knew her I thought he might be her dead lover reincarnated. Ew. And yuck. And NO. lol. Also, I wonder if just because you become cursed again when you leave Storybrooke doesn't mean you can't get your memory back again. *hmms* Well, anyways, great episode, can't wait for next week, and more Seb please. =)
